Father Seyfried Council #821

Knight Light On Line
Welcome to the Father Seyfried Council Web Page. We have been chartered as a council since January, 1903 and are located at 44 Church Street, Kings Park, Long Island, New York easily reached using major roads.

Thanks to the efforts of Father Michael J. McGivney, assistant Pastor at St. Mary's Church in New Haven Connecticut and some of his parishioners, the Connecticut Legislature in March 1882 officially chartered the Knights of Columbus (KofC) as a fraternal benefit society. New Haven is the site of the Supreme Council and the Order is still true to its founding principles of charity, unity and fraternity. Since its inception, the KofC has grown into the largest Catholic men's organization. We are over 1.8 million members in 14,000 Council throughout the world working for the benefit of mankind.
